Our Forest School – Learning the Wild Way!

We are very excited and fortunate to now offer Forest School to all of the children in our school. At Forest School, children get the chance to learn, play, and explore outdoors – whatever the weather! From building dens and playing in hammocks to spotting wildlife and making things with natural materials, every session is packed with adventure. Through playing and exploring in the outdoors, this helps to promote curiosity, creativity and a deep respect for nature and the outdoors as well as allowing for the holistic development of the children. Being out in nature also helps children learn how to work together, solve problems, and enjoy the freedom to learn in their own way. There’s nothing quite like the magic of the forest – and we love seeing the children thrive in it!

The Exciting Future of our Forest School

We are really excited about the future of our Forest School! In the autumn term of 2025, we are hoping to open a second Forest School site, giving the children even more opportunities to explore and enjoy a true woodland environment. This means more space, more nature, and even more adventures! We’re also hoping to set up our very own fire circle in the coming months – perfect for toasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and learning campfire cooking skills. We can’t wait to see the children embrace these new experiences, grow in confidence, and make unforgettable memories in the great outdoors!
