Friends of Staverton School (FoSS)
FoSS (Friends of Staverton School) are family members of children who work tirelessly throughout the school year to raise valuable funds and provide wonderful experiences for the children in our school. They will welcome help so please do pop into school and let us know if you are interested in joining FoSS or if you can just help out on the odd occasion.
FoSS provide amazing experiences and opportunities for the children and families at Staverton Primary School. Here are some examples to name but a few!
- Coin Wars
- Silent disco and Valentine's disco
- Pop up plant shop, pop up bakers and afternoon tea with scones from Baker Benjy to celebrate special people in our children's lives
- Easter egg hunt in the village and an Easter egg for every child
- Christmas fair
- Father Christmas sleigh run
- Pancakes for every child following our pancake race House event
- Break the Rules Day!
- Mufti days
- Funding coach costs for every child to visit Hideaway Farm
- Doughnuts
- Ice lollies and ice-creams after school
- Selling of pre-loved school uniform
- Y6 treat evening bbq following SATs
- Funding a whole school pantomime performance with interval treats!
